The Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre was created in 1893 from the merging of two age-old organizations, namely the Casa de la Moneda (The Mint) and the Fábrica del Sello (The Stamp Factory). These two entities, even though they were self-determining and under different managements, had been sharing the building in the Plaza de Colón since 1861. From that time forward, with security as the common thread, their scope of activity has never stopped expanding. The FNMT-RCM is a public business entity under the umbrella of The Ministry of Finance. It is a corporation acting as a true public service, because of the type of work it performs. On the other hand, it is open to collaboration with private entities in situations where there are security requirements and a need for strict monitoring of production, an area in which the FNMT-RCM has gained the recognition and trust of the general public. All of its activities are based on integrated security, applied to the corporation's production processes, to their products, to the processing of information and to its facilities.

The Royal Dutch Mint was founded in Utrecht in 1567, placing it among the oldest businesses in the Netherlands. During the 16th century, the Netherlands was home to a number of mints, each of which struck their own currency. In 1806, it was decided that the country should have one, central mint – the Utrecht Mint – and a single national currency. After many years as a State-run institution, the Mint became an independent commercial organisation in 1994. The Dutch State remained involved as 100% shareholder. In 1999, the Mint was granted the right to bear the prestigious ‘Royal’ predicate. The King of the Netherlands reserves this predicate for a select group of Dutch businesses, as it symbolises the King’s respect, trust and appreciation for those organisations. In 2016, the Royal Dutch Mint became the first European mint to privatize its operations. This step enabled the Mint to improve its responsiveness, customer service and efficiency by means of a more effective decision-making structure and the ability to pursue long-term goals and strategies.

For more than 50 years, the CIT team in the Principality of Liechtenstein has been developing innovative, high-quality coins that delight collectors around the world. Their success lies in combining years of experience with youthful creativity.  CIT’s products are anything but ordinary. This is appreciated by international clients, including dealers and national banks, for whom more than 300 unique coin projects are completed each year. Whether it’s design, production, or marketing, the CIT team provides each client with customized services to bring their numismatic vision to life.  In collaboration with production partner B.H. Mayer, CIT has developed the revolutionary smartminting® technology, opening a new chapter in the history of minting. This technology not only allows engineers to create sensational high relief on both sides of a coin but also ensures incredible detail while reducing material usage. Whether silver, gold, platinum, or copper, combined with various finishes, color applications, inlays, or special shapes, these technical possibilities allow the creation of timeless numismatic masterpieces.   Highlights include the integration of glass elements, as seen in the legendary Tiffany Art series, or the extraordinary color effects of the award-winning Topography collection. Innovative finishes, such as the striking Obsidian Black of the Hunters by Night series, push the boundaries of design. One thing remains non-negotiable at CIT: quality. Every customer and coin enthusiast around the world can trust their products. Every step of the production process is meticulously monitored, and no compromises are made. Independent grading companies consistently award CIT coins with superior grades, and internationally renowned juries have honored CIT coins with 30 awards for innovative design, technical advancement, and artistic excellence.
