Jump in and introduce yourself

Now that we are seeing some new people from our member organisations register with the website, feel free to jump into this thread (or create a new one) to introduce yourself to the MDA community!

I'll start ... I am Mark Cartwright, Executive Director of the MDA. I have held this position for the past 17 months and have enjoyed working with a terrific Board of Directors to establish the MDA as an inclusive member-based organisation. We currently have 30 members and recently celebrated a successful MDC in Cape Town, hosted by the wonderful South African Mint. My time in the industry is approaching 15 years, with the majority of this spent working as the EGM of Sales, Marketing and Innovation for the Royal Australian Mint. I reside in Canberra, Australia and outside of work I enjoy listening to music and playing a whole manner of things including tennis, pickleball, guitar and board games!
